Lead HR Generalist
to join their team in Holdrege, NE.
Position Summary: The Lead HR Generalist will deliver a full spectrum of HR services to assigned departments and functions at the Holdrege site. This individual will serve as a
strategic business partner
and
people advisor
to managers and team leaders, while overseeing one direct report (HR Coordinator). Responsibilities span across employee relations, policy implementation, performance management, and leadership development.
Job Responsibilities: Act as a trusted advisor to managers and leaders, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and respect Partner with department heads to drive team effectiveness, engagement, and leadership capability Provide expert-level coaching on performance management, corrective actions, EEO, and employee relations Interpret and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure consistent and fair application Conduct investigations involving harassment, discrimination, or policy violations Lead annual HR processes such as performance reviews and compensation cycles Oversee workforce planning, talent development, and succession planning efforts Analyze employee engagement survey results and lead follow-up action planning Develop and deliver leadership training and management development programs Monitor and report HR metrics and KPIs to site leadership Recommend and implement HR process improvements Perform other HR-related duties as needed to support business goals
Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field Minimum of
5 years of progressive HR experience Demonstrated experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR data reporting HR experience in a
manufacturing or industrial
environment In-depth knowledge of employment laws, EEO, and AAP compliance Familiarity with local, state, federal, and client-specific safety regulations
Preferred requirements: HR Certification: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and influencing across all levels Solution-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities High level of professionalism, discretion, and autonomy
