We're looking for an experienced and results-driven

Plant Manager

who is a hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development.

Key Responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership across production, quality, safety, and compliance functions Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and meet performance goals Oversee plant budgeting, financial controls, and cost management Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations Lead cross-functional teams and large-scale projects to support business objectives Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve plant operations Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting Strong understanding of plant operations, financial management, and regulatory compliance Ability to lead change, motivate teams, and drive performance Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Location Ferndale, MI area (Onsite)

Compensation Base Salary + Bonus + 401K + Full Medical, Dental, Vision + Tuition Reimbursement + Additional Benefits.

Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement plant policies and goals that support overall business objectives Lead and coordinate departments including quality, materials, manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations Review and manage budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities while maintaining performance Monitor daily plant activities and production metrics to ensure schedules, quality, and budget goals are met Work closely with leadership teams to adjust plans based on operational or sales performance Oversee key programs such as employee training, safety, housekeeping, cost reduction, and plant security Plan for staffing and equipment needs to support production demands Enforce company policies and ensure compliance with workplace rules and procedures

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. At least 7 years of experience as a Manufacturing Leader in a Low-Volume/High-Mix, Metals Manufacturing environment (ideally Heavy Truck, Commercial Vehicle, Off-Highway) Strong understanding of production processes, efficiency, and productivity standards Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams Hands-on technical knowledge of manufacturing systems and operations Proven leadership and team development skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Solid analytical skills to support data-driven decision-making
