Plant Manager – Manufacturing (Ohio) We are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Plant Manager to oversee operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility in Ohio. This role will lead all aspects of plant performance, including production, safety, quality, maintenance, and workforce management.

Key Responsibilities: Direct day-to-day plant operations, leading a team of approximately 60 production employees. Maintain efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing processes that meet production schedules and customer expectations. Lead, mentor, and develop plant supervisors and production staff, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. Oversee staffing needs in partnership with HR, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management. Track and manage KPIs for productivity, quality, safety, cost, and on-time delivery. Partner with maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing or similar methodologies. Develop and manage the plant budget, including labor, materials, maintenance, and capital projects. Ensure compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. Collaborate with engineering, finance, quality, and HR to achieve operational and strategic goals. Present plant performance updates and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing; rubber or polymer processing experience preferred. Strong knowledge of production planning, quality systems, maintenance, and safety compliance. Proven ability to lead, engage, and motivate teams. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement tools is a plus.
