is looking for a
Supply Chain Planning Specialist
to join our
GSC Factory Team
based out of
Linthicum, MD . What You’ll get to Do: Providing support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program
Understanding the breadth of the supply chain management scope (including materials management, procurement, subcontracts, material finance, and supplier relationship management)
Developing, coordinating, and executing monthly material forecast planning and tracking
Planning and coordinating program requirements
Monitoring and establishing material inventory
Addressing supplier capacity and/or production issues
Evaluating suppliers and noting key performance indicators
Candidates must be able to make sound decisions in a timely manner, display strong interpersonal skills, and have an agile perspective of compliance protocol mandated by regulated industry
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience working in Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, or Logistics work environment; Master’s degree and experience working in Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, or Logistics work environment; 6 or more years of experience working in Global Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Planning, or Logistics work environment may be considered in lieu of a degree
Basic knowledge of MS Office tools, specifically Excel and Outlook with experience using MS Project
Basic understanding of MRP Systems
Ability to work on-site and commute between facilities
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced MS Project User
Experience with SAP
Familiarity with Product Control functions and Material Management
Experience leading special projects
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Experience in proposal roles and responsibilities a plus
Experience with cost, schedule, variance reporting
