In this exciting role, you’ll give clients financial guidance while forming lasting relationships built on trust, respect, and reaching a common goal. As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for practicing with existing Schwab clients, providing wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice through client asset consolidation, networking, and earning client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients — this role is for you. Required Qualifications: A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license required Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance will be required during your tenure. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships by applying a focused communication strategy and exceeding expectations. Ability to leverage our team of Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and inspire action to help clients achieve their goals. Openness to manage wealth for clients, including Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning. Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve. Passion for community engagement and discussing market conditions, sound investing principles, and long-term strategies with clients.
