$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Green Key Resources Our client, an AM Law 100 firm in New York City, is seeking a skilled and proactive candidate to support a busy group of attorneys across a wide range of litigation matters. This is a direct-hire opportunity with strong long-term potential for someone looking to deepen their experience in litigation support while contributing to trial and case team logistics. Schedule:
Onsite, in office Monday-Friday Hours:
9:00am–5:30pm Responsibilities: • Support attorneys throughout the litigation lifecycle, including case prep, discovery, hearings, and trial • Coordinate the logistics for depositions, conferences, and court proceedings, both locally and nationally • Draft, revise, and assist with filing legal documents including pleadings, motions, and correspondence • Perform legal research, review court dockets, and track relevant deadlines and court orders • Manage and maintain case files and databases, ensuring all records are current and organized • Assist with document review, trial exhibit preparation, and assembly of hearing materials • Support electronic and hard copy filings in both federal and state courts • Maintain and update case contact lists, assist with due diligence materials, and track deliverables • Review legal documents for accuracy in formatting, citation, and grammar • Liaise with attorneys, clients, experts, and vendors, providing general case support • Mentor junior legal assistants and share best practices across the litigation support team • Travel occasionally to provide onsite support during trials or hearings Qualifications: • At least 4–5 years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience in a law firm setting is required • Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate strongly preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel; familiarity with document management systems a plus • Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading, organizational, and multitasking skills • Comfortable working in a high-pressure environment and able to meet tight deadlines • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team • Notary public certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months preferred • Flexibility to work overtime and travel for case-related needs Seniority level
