Patent Associate Attorney or Patent Agent - Organic Chemistry

Our client is a top Am law firm, seeking a Chemistry Patent Associate or Patent Agent for its intellectual property practice in Boston, Philadelphia, Newark, Wilmington, Washington, DC, Hartford, or Stamford offices. The salary range for this position is between $185k to $220k.

Qualifications

• 2-10 years of patent prosecution and drafting of chemistry patent applications.
• Advanced degree in Organic Chemistry (Ph.D. is preferred) -- or in lieu of an advanced degree, significant chemistry-focused industry experience of at least five years.
• Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and interpersonal communication skills.
• For attorney candidates, at least one state bar admission is required.
• USPTO admission is required.

All candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
