Functions and Responsibilities: Gather daily broker files and ACE data for adds to a merged reporting file used by Finance:

Pull ACE data. Confirm Buckland's data is received. Push EXL for their data. Upload files to the Teams site for Finance. Eventually take over the file merger process from Finance.

Support the monthly reporting process:

Focus on the last two weeks of data to ensure completeness.

Investigate duty spikes that occur within specific week time frames for report-out meetings (e.g., Wednesday 12:30 PM meeting with Lynch). Perform data mining for escalations report-outs and deep investigations:

Investigations may involve HTS, part numbers, suppliers, FTA, duties paid, COO, and more.

Conduct data mining and analysis for specific requests from Sales, Purchasing, and other departments; summarize and present findings. Validate data mining results for accuracy and identify necessary actions (duty recovery, broker filing adjustments, missing documentation, additional FOCUS solicitations, etc.). Gather information from multiple sources including broker spreadsheets, 7501 entry packages, FOCUS certificates, and Program Responses (requires high attention to detail and time investment). Manage post-entry and duty recovery efforts:

Complete backlog of duty recovery filings. Identify ongoing recovery opportunities with CBP. Coordinate with brokers regarding necessary documentation and follow-ups. Investigate and resolve data discrepancies. Organize and lead meetings to close out open investigations.

Handle multiple corrections/adjustments on given entries to ensure all issues are resolved simultaneously. Track duty refunds upon receipt and ensure proper allocation back to the G/L code. Create and maintain periodic reporting and presentations (e.g., weekly calls with Purchasing). Participate in other activities and projects as identified over time. Skills Required:

Minimum 5-10 years of import/export experience handling shipments to a variety of global destinations. Strong working knowledge of shipment/entry documentation, specific documentation requirements, and record-keeping protocols. Proficiency in understanding various Free Trade Agreements (FTA) and Certificates of Origin (COO), including eligibility assessments. Deep understanding of classifications and tariff structures (global classification experience is a plus). Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills. dvanced data analytical abilities, especially with Excel, Power BI, and Power Query. Strong reporting skills - ability to develop, standardize, and automate reporting where possible. Outstanding follow-through and follow-up capabilities. Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy. Experience Required:

5-10 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations involving global shipments. Demonstrated expertise in shipment/entry documentation and record-keeping compliance. Comprehensive knowledge of FTA/COO certification processes. Proficiency in product classification and global tariff interpretation. Solid experience in using PowerPoint for effective communication. dvanced experience with data analytics tools like Excel, Power BI, and Power Query. Education Required:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Customs-related certifications are a strong plus. dditional Information:

This role is structured as a minimum 12-month contract with the potential for extension. Hybrid working model: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote. Flexible shift timings to accommodate work-life balance.
