Job Overview:
This role oversees the performance of a Leslie’s store to ensure it meets or exceeds customer service standards, sales goals, profitability, operating procedures, and merchandising objectives. Responsibilities include managing sales, profit margins, payroll, and expenses, executing company programs, hiring and training staff, and fostering a customer-focused and positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Hire top talent (“A” players) to support key objectives such as:
- Achieving or surpassing sales targets.
- Meeting EBITDA/SOC and labor rate goals.
- Maintaining shrink at 0.4% or better.
- Exceeding gross margin and APC goals.
- Increasing customer counts compared to last year.
- Achieving a Mystery Shop score of 95% or higher.
- Effectively sourcing, selecting, and selling “A” players.
- Ensuring efficiency, organization, industry knowledge, and a customer service mindset.
- Demonstrating aggressiveness, follow-through, intelligence, analytical skills, high standards, attention to detail, proactivity, and the ability to develop people.
- Upholding honesty and integrity, fostering creativity and innovation, maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting a strong work ethic, and demonstrating excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Adapting quickly to changing priorities and circumstances.
Qualifications:
- Completion of all training modules, including GMIT and Talent Platform.
- Ability to participate in the succession program.
- Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $44,500 annually.
