Job Summary

The Account Manager will work with Advisors/Client Executives and Account Executives to service client accounts, manage renewals, marketing processes, and prepare presentation materials. The role involves developing client and carrier relationships, working proactively, and supporting the Account Management Team.

Location

This role reports to our Plainview, NY, or Warrington, PA office with a hybrid schedule. Remote options are considered for experienced PCG/HNW candidates on the East Coast familiar with these markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Develop relationships with carrier and client contacts and participate actively in meetings.
  2. Prepare and send requests for proposals, analyze results, and draft renewal presentations.
  3. Review proposals and source documents collaboratively, and communicate directly with clients and carriers with supervisor approval.
  4. Maintain client files and keep records updated in the agency management system.
  5. Address billing questions from clients and insurance personnel with departmental support.

  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-confident with sound decision-making abilities.
  • Effective in team settings and independently.
  • Professional, courteous, and calm demeanor.
  • Customer-focused with strong relationship skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); CRM experience required, EPIC preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and technology.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education/training preferred.
  • Over 3 years of industry experience, specifically in Personal Lines/PCG coverage.
  • Familiarity with major markets like AIG, Chubb/ACE, and PURE.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel; CRM experience required, EPIC highly desired.

Certificates and Licenses

  • Property & Casualty Broker's License required upon hire.
  • Designations like CIC, CPCU are preferred.

What We Offer

Competitive salary, PTO, holidays, 401(k) match, discounts, health & wellness programs, and more. Salary range: $59,000 $77,000, determined by experience and location. Performance incentives may apply.
