What Youll Do:
- Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and live-tool lathes using Mastercam
- Create, revise, and optimize CNC programs to support efficient, high-quality production
- Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy
- Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to produce precision components to tight tolerances
- Support process improvements, tooling selection, and setup standardization
- Participate in first article inspections (FAI) and support AS9102 compliance
- Troubleshoot programming or machining issues to minimize downtime and improve cycle times
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in CNC programming for aerospace and/or defense manufacturing
- Proficiency in Mastercam, G-code, and Fanuc controls
- Solid experience programming multi-axis mills and lathes
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and tight-tolerance machining
- Understanding of inspection processes and FAI/AS9102 requirements
- Ability to work closely with shop floor teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
