What You’ll Do: Program 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and live-tool lathes using Mastercam Create, revise, and optimize CNC programs to support efficient, high-quality production Collaborate with machinists, engineers, and production teams to ensure manufacturability and accuracy Interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T to produce precision components to tight tolerances Support process improvements, tooling selection, and setup standardization Participate in first article inspections (FAI) and support AS9102 compliance Troubleshoot programming or machining issues to minimize downtime and improve cycle times
What You Bring: 5+ years of experience in CNC programming for aerospace and/or defense manufacturing Proficiency in Mastercam, G-code, and Fanuc controls Solid experience programming multi-axis mills and lathes Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, GD&T, and tight-tolerance machining Understanding of inspection processes and FAI/AS9102 requirements Ability to work closely with shop floor teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment Commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and continuous improvement
