Job Description & Requirements * Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit * Discipline: RN * Start Date: 09/09/2025 * Duration: 16 weeks * 36 hours per week * Shift: 12 hours, nights * Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse – PCU (Surgical Oncology) Location: Columbus, OH 43210 Contract Length: 16 weeks Shifts Available: Nights: 3x12-hour (19:00 – 07:30) / Days: 3x12-hour (07:00 – 19:30) Weekly Breakdown: Weekly Gross: $2,305.00 Per Week On W2(Taxable): $828.00 Per Week Stipend(Non-Taxable): $1,477.00 Per Week Responsibilities: Provide direct care to post-surgical oncology patients in a PCU setting Administer chemotherapy, blood products, IV antibiotics Manage insulin and heparin drips Monitor for oncologic emergencies (e.g., cytokine release syndrome) Utilize strict infection prevention and patient fall safety protocols Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (RT, PT, IV team, Pharmacy, Social Work) Participate in self-scheduling and unit float requirements Skills & Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of PCU or stepdown RN experience Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation/management Proficiency in trach management, BiPAP/CPAP, and chest tube care Certifications Required: BLS ACLS NIHSS Charting System: Epic (Required) Licensure & Compliance: License Required: Valid Compact or OH RN license in hand at time of submission About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) , proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs .
