Our client is seeking a strategic, detail-driven Risk Placement Advisor to join their commercial lines team. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with Account Executives to design, market, and place optimal risk solutions for a diverse portfolio of commercial clients. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead strategy and execution for marketing commercial account renewals to appropriate insurance carriers
- Prepare and submit high-quality, market-tailored submissions with accurate, complete data
- Collaborate with the service team
- Collect quotes, negotiate terms, and present carrier recommendations with clarity and insight
- Explore alternative risk financing options such as captives, large deductibles, and buy-back programs
- Research and recommend products that offer optimal coverage and pricing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carrier underwriters and market partners
- Provide detailed coverage comparisons and cost-benefit analyses
- Stay informed on market trends, carrier appetites, and regulatory updates
Qualifications:
- Active Property & Casualty insurance license
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Strong technical knowledge and underwriting background
- In-depth understanding of commercial property, casualty, and specialty lines
- Proactive, organized, and able to manage multiple timelines effectively
- Strategic thinker able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Must have a collaborative mentality
- Experience with EPIC agency management system is a plus
