Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team.
Position Overview:
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage the full lifecycle of ground-up and renovation construction projects ranging from $5M to $20M+ . This role is office-based in Columbus , with no travel required. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while delivering results that align with client expectations, budget, schedule, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Lead project teams including Superintendents, Project Engineers, and subcontractors
- Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and financial reports
- Oversee subcontractor buyout, contract execution, and performance
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company protocols
- Maintain proactive communication with clients, architects, and consultants
- Resolve project-related issues and facilitate decision-making in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Construction Project Manager with a general contractor
- Experience managing commercial construction projects of at least $5 million in value
- Sector experience in education, healthcare, commercial, industrial, or multi-family is a plus
- Proficiency with construction management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred but not required
