Our client, a highly respected and growing general contractor headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead complex, high-visibility projects and mentor field teams. They’re looking for a senior-level professional who brings deep field leadership experience , a team-first mindset , and a take-ownership approach to every project. This individual will play a key role in project execution and field team development as the company continues its trajectory of steady, strategic growth.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Serve as the lead on large-scale projects (typically $5M–$25M+)
- Manage all field operations including scheduling, subcontractor oversight, site logistics, and safety compliance
- Mentor and guide Assistant and Project Superintendents
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers and clients to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery
- Lead site coordination meetings and ensure alignment among all project stakeholders
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and team collaboration
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years of Superintendent experience, with at least 3+ years in a senior or lead field leadership capacity
- Proven track record managing complex projects in sectors such as commercial, industrial, healthcare, higher ed, senior living, or hospitality
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Experience managing self-perform work is a plus
- Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and proactive in identifying and mitigating issues
