Over the past two years, the firm has completed over $150M of transactions with the intention of creating a $1B+ real estate fund over the next 2-3 years. By working with government leaders, and by partnering with our sponsors and lenders, the company’s vision is to create 10,000+ residential units with a focus on tackling the affordable housing crisis in North America. The Role | Project Site Coordinator
The Project Site Coordinator will provide critical on-site, administrative and project management support to the development team, ensuring real estate projects are executed efficiently and on schedule. This individual will assist in supporting our on-site construction teams, coordinating activities across internal departments, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all phases of the development process.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development team in managing timelines, deliverables, and documentation across multiple active projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and municipalities to facilitate permitting, approvals, and construction milestones.
- Track and maintain project schedules, budgets, invoices, and critical path timelines.
- Assist with the preparation of development applications, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain organized records of project documentation, including contracts, drawings, change orders, and correspondence.
- Support construction progress tracking, including site visit coordination, status updates, and reporting.
- Liaise with finance and accounting teams to support draw requests, cost tracking, and funding schedules.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items for development-related meetings.
- Conduct market research and benchmarking related to zoning, land use, and comparable developments.
- Ensure effective communication across cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in a real estate development, construction, or project coordination role; new grads are welcome to apply.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project); experience with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Monday.com, or Procore) is a plus.
- Familiarity with zoning and planning processes, development applications, and construction terminology.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous knowledge and/or experience supporting mixed-use or multi-family real estate projects is an asset.
