A global trading firm with over 2,000 employees across five offices is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their New York Accounting team. This role will interact with various teams, including Operations, Trading, and international Accounting teams.

A global trading firm with over 2,000 employees across five offices is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join their New York Accounting team. This role will interact with various teams, including Operations, Trading, and international Accounting teams.
Job Responsibilities:

• Tracking and recording invoices and outstanding amounts owed to the firm
• Preparing month-end reconciliations
• Contacting clearing firms and customers for payment details and escalating overdue bills to trading desks
• Processing day-to-day settlements, invoice adjustments, or customer refunds with the Operations team
• Working with clients and clearing firms to resolve financial discrepancies
• Ensuring timely accounting of invoices and collections
  

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an accounts receivable role
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Workday is a plus
• Experience in reconciliations or accounting roles is a plus
• Familiarity with the trading firm billing ecosystem is a plus
  

Compensation:
Salary: $95,000 $115,000, DOE
