Tax Associate - Cupertino - Salary up to $110K DOE

This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Associate to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. Youll work closely with senior team members, gain hands-on experience across a variety of industries, and develop technical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships
• Organize and review client financial documents
• Prepare supporting workpapers and documentation
• Research federal and state tax laws and monitor changes in tax regulations
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure audit readiness

Client Support & Communication:

• Respond to client inquiries regarding tax returns, notices, and compliance matters
• Work with clients to gather documentation and meet deadlines
• Communicate clearly and professionally, maintaining client confidentiality

Learning & Growth:

• Participate in training sessions and professional development initiatives
• Strengthen your knowledge of tax codes and compliance standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; Masters in Taxation a plus
• 25 years of experience in public accounting tax
• Progress toward CPA is highly preferred
• Knowledge of federal and state tax laws
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
• Familiarity with tax software
