Job Overview: The Financial Analyst supports critical finance functions, including investment accounting, asset and liability management, and profitability analysis. This role is responsible for preparing detailed reports, managing financial data, supporting budgeting processes, and providing analytical insights to senior leadership for effective decision-making.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for:
- Managing investment accounting functions to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Preparing and reviewing finance reports, database files, and ad-hoc analyses
- Supporting profitability analysis by validating data inputs, running models, and identifying financial trends
- Assisting with budgeting by reviewing reports, analyzing variances, and creating executive-level summaries
- Researching and responding to inquiries from leadership, providing data-driven support
- Maintaining accuracy and compliance in all financial processes while adapting to evolving priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and computer applications
- Advanced Excel skills, including macros and complex formulas
