Financial Analyst - Part-Time in Louisville, KY

Blue Recycled Materials is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Part-Time Financial Analyst to support financial modeling, forecasting, and decision-making. This role requires expert-level Excel skills and the ability to create advanced financial models, dashboards, and presentations to support business strategy and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, build, and maintain complex Excel-based financial models.
• Prepare financial forecasts, scenario analyses, and variance reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Create visually compelling presentations and reports for executive review.
• Assist in budgeting, strategic planning, and decision-making processes.
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis as requested by leadership.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, Power Query, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current undergraduate/Bachelor's and Master's students are encouraged to apply.
• Background/education in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience and interest in financial modeling, FP&A, management consulting, corporate/investment banking, or private equity.
• Familiarity with other tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
