Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Construction Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in accounts payable, preferably in a construction setting, and a strong understanding of vendor compliance and job costing. This role is crucial in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor and subcontractor bills, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting our accounting operations through JobTread and QuickBooks Online.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage all vendor and subcontractor invoices Ensure compliance documentation is current and properly filed Oversee vendor and subcontractor onboarding processes Enter job-related billing information accurately into JobTread Perform construction cost coding and support job costing efforts Communicate professionally with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Maintain accurate and organized financial records Assist with month-end close processes and reporting as needed Qualifications:
Prior Accounts Payable experience required QuickBooks Online experience required Experience with construction cost coding and job costing strongly preferred Working knowledge of JobTread or similar construction management software is a plus High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Benefits We Offer:
