Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping things running smoothly.

Must be able to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and special events dates.
Job Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry
Respond promptly to guest service requests for maintenance issues
Inspect and maintain building systems including safety equipment and emergency lighting
Perform preventative maintenance on hotel equipment and systems
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems and equipment
Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas and maintenance shop
Assist with seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping
Work with contractors and vendors as needed for specialized repairs
Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance logs
Ensure compliance with hotel safety and security procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification a plus
Proven experience in general maintenance, facility repair, or related field
Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Must pass background check and have reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
Hotel or hospitality maintenance experience
EPA certification or relevant trade license
