CosmoProf Beauty 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Essential Function Assistant Store Managers are responsible for hiring, developing, and leading all store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, effectively overseeing all store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Develop strategies and plans to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication, and consistent accountability. Support the Store Manager in all outlined areas and are responsible for all primary duties when the Store Manager is not present. Primary Duties Supervise and support associates' daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty. Ensure brand standards are met, including merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc. Act as the main contact for customer issues and analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands. Engage, train, and develop teams to achieve positive results. Recruit actively to build a strong network of candidates. Identify strengths and opportunities for associates, coaching or counseling as needed. Maintain positive relations, resolve concerns, and communicate effectively with team and peers. Foster diversity, inclusion, and belonging. Ensure execution of company processes through training, management, and continuous improvement. Support digital strategies like Omni-channel fulfillment. Manage inventory, payroll, store opening/closing procedures, and ensure compliance with directives and projects. Maintain a safe environment, protect assets, and ensure policies are followed, including inventory and cash control, reporting, and safety training. Knowledge, Skills/Abilities And Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent Must be 18 years or older Preferred 3+ years retail/customer service experience Preferred 1+ year management experience Ability to lead/support teams, communicate effectively, and meet scheduling needs Cosmetology license desirable but not required Competencies Passionate Learner Flexible and Agile Talent Builder Effective Communicator Team Builder Customer Focused Results Driven Strategic Thinker Big Picture Thinker Problem Solver & Decision Maker Working Conditions Physical activity including standing, walking, bending, lifting moderately heavy items.
