We are seeking a Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to drive accounting transformation initiatives across Insurance and Reinsurance Controllership functions. This role will be central to the design, validation, and implementation of new accounting processes and systems, ensuring alignment with financial reporting and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in insurance and reinsurance accounting, experience with ERP implementations, and a strong ability to lead change across cross-functional teams.

What You Will Work On Serve as SME for accounting transformation initiatives, including SAP S/4HANA and FPSL implementations. Define and validate business requirements for insurance and reinsurance accounting processes under GAAP and statutory guidelines. Collaborate with Project Management, Technology, and Operations teams to ensure system design supports accurate financial reporting and compliance. Lead data mapping, testing, and control activities to ensure integrity of financial close and reporting processes. Drive business readiness through training, documentation, and change management strategies. Support the adoption of new tools and processes by aligning them with internal controls and operational workflows. What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Significant experience in insurance and/or reinsurance accounting, with a focus on transformation and system implementation. Strong understanding of GAAP, statutory accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks. Proven track record in leading ERP implementations (e.g., SAP S/4HANA, FPSL) and managing cross-functional initiatives. Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills. Ability to translate complex accounting requirements into system and process solutions. What You Can Expect
