Investment Controllership Consultants

We are seeking multiple highly skilled and versatile Consultants to support multiple areas within Investment Finance. These roles will play a critical part in driving financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across subsidiaries, securities, derivatives, alternatives, and investment analytics. The ideal candidates will possess deep technical accounting expertise, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams. Life insurance or Reinsurance experience is a must. What You Will Work On Roles exist in the following different, but intertwined, areas. Life Insurance or Reinsurance experience is a must. Controllership Functions: Lead financial close, reporting, and analysis activities for corporate subsidiaries and alternative investments. Ensure accurate financial results and intercompany reconciliations. Support compliance with internal controls and external reporting standards (GAAP and statutory). Partner with operations, investment management, and technology teams to ensure seamless data integration and system alignment. Oversee accounting for corporate investments including equities, alternatives, and derivatives. Define and validate end-to-end accounting processes for transactions, valuations, impairments, and hedge accounting. Ensure systems and processes support accurate financial and regulatory reporting. Drive transformation initiatives and business readiness through documentation, training, and stakeholder alignment. Investment Analytics & Credit Reporting:

Conduct financial analysis and monitor credit exposure across investment portfolios. Prepare dashboards and performance reports, ensuring data accuracy and consistency across systems. Support internal and regulatory reporting requirements for both CIF and non-CIF portfolios. Governance & Transformation:

Contribute to governance initiatives within Investment Controllership. Align new processes with internal controls and support adoption through training and documentation. Collaborate with project teams to validate business requirements and support system implementations. What You Will Bring

Life Insurance or Reinsurance industry experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred. Extensive experience in financial reporting, investment accounting, or controllership roles. Strong understanding of GAAP, statutory accounting principles, and regulatory requirements. Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex financial processes. Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Experience with financial systems and data integration projects is a plus. What You Can Expect
