Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing the company's accounts payable functions with accuracy and efficiency. Your role will involve ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors and suppliers, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to manage invoices, resolve discrepancies, and uphold the companys financial integrity. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a critical role in building a positive work culture, driving employee involvement, and supporting change management efforts within the retail organization. Responsibilities Monitor the flow of invoices between systems Sort expense invoices in SharePoint to code to the correct G/L account and send to be approved Process invoices on a weekly basis for payment Research invoice/payment information and discuss with vendors, and internal teams as needed Other Duties As Assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 1 - 2 years in accounting or related field Strong understanding of General Ledger system and Accounts Payable processing Strong organizational, analytical and recording skills Detail oriented Proficient in Microsoft Office suite Seniority level
