Base pay range
$50.00/hr - $60.00/hr About the job Design and develop a Full Stack Java and React based application. Performs new development, maintenance fixes and enhancements to meet business requirements. Draft and review architectural diagrams, specifications, business requirements as well as various design documents. Work with our existing technology stack (Java, Springboot, React.js) as well as new technologies for our next generation solutions. Documents technical requirements, program and subsystem designs, resolutions to system problems, project task descriptions, effort estimates, and unit and integration tests. Acquire a robust understanding of financial products, services, processes, and organizational structure in order to find optimal solutions. Maintain awareness of industry trends, compliance concerns, risk control processes, and regulatory landscape Mentor other software developers REQUIREMENTS 6+ years in web development in Java Springboot, REACT and/or Angular & TypeScript solid understanding of responsive design/development and mobile-web best practices. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git and Bitbucket Practical experience and understanding of low latency messaging middleware Practical experience working within the Scrum Framework and Agile methodologies Must possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Excellent English verbal and written communication skills Willingness to occasionally wander into other areas (e.g., backend, devops, other teams' codebase) and ship end-to-end solutions. Drive to learn, grow and "make things better than you found it". Self-motivated, highly organized, team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn quickly and work independently. DESIRED SKILLS: Familiar with related non-development fields (Product, UX, Business Analytics, Information Mapping, etc.) Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, UI development. Practical experience with relational databases (Oracle, Sybase) Seniority level
