Job Summary
Responsible for driving business performance through in-depth data research, financial analysis, and process evaluation. Under moderate supervision, the Business Analyst identifies business needs, develops strategies, and provides actionable recommendations to improve operations and achieve organizational goals. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment on business objectives and successful implementation of solutions.

Major Responsibilities
Analyze pricing and sales data from industry standards, previous sales trends, and competitors; report data to decision-makers and maintain sales reports.
Participate in proposal pricing, develop pricing strategies, analyze and compile cost data, and prepare price submissions. Communicate pricing strategies to sales and divisional leadership.
Identify data and reporting tools needed for business, financial, and data analysis; develop reports for product managers, sales, and customers. Communicate insights, trends, and unusual performance findings.
Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Inventory Management, Finance) to provide analysis and reporting as needed.
Develop and implement standard and ad hoc reports based on business needs.
Analyze financial information related to organizational expenses; seek ways to improve budget and forecast accuracy.
Ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and integrity in analysis and reporting; communicate issues to relevant personnel.
Minimum Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Mathematics, Applied Statistics, or Business Analytics.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of related experience or a combination of experience and education.
Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills (functions, charts, PivotTables, nested formulas); time management; data analysis to identify issues, trends, and solutions.
Preferred Job Requirements
Experience with SAP, SQL, Tableau, DART, Nquire, SOUL, CRM, PIR, and Costing.
Knowledge of Medline Industries, LP, and its subsidiaries.
The salary range for this position is $68,640.00 - $99,320.00 annually. The actual salary depends on location, education, experience, skills, and abilities.
