Operating Expense Accounting - Life Insurance or Reinsurance Consultant

We are seeking a Lead Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support transformation and operational excellence within the Operating Expense Accounting team. This role will be responsible for overseeing financial close activities, intercompany billing, expense allocations, and reporting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting expertise, experience with expense management, and the ability to support system and process improvements. What You Will Work On Lead and support financial close processes related to operating expenses, including management fees and intercompany billing. Oversee preparation and validation of selected financial exhibits and intercompany allocations. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and analysis related to expense accounting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system enhancements and process improvements. Contribute to documentation, testing, and controls to ensure integrity of expense-related financial data. What You Will Bring

Life Insurance or Reinsurance industry experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent preferred. Strong experience in operating expense accounting, financial close, and reporting. Familiarity with intercompany billing and allocation methodologies. Proven ability to work across teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Experience with financial systems and reporting tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) is desirable.
