Position Overview: The Administrative Assistant II will provide dedicated on-site support to the Office of the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO). This role is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative duties that are essential to the daily operations and internal coordination of the CIO's executive leadership team. The Administrative Assistant II will ensure smooth office functionality, manage sensitive documentation, and support task tracking and communication across task areas.

Key Responsibilities: • Provide general administrative and clerical support including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and organizing travel arrangements. • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive documents. • Prepare meeting agendas, take meeting minutes, and distribute summaries and action items. • Support document formatting, editing, and distribution for official memoranda, briefings, and internal reports. • Assist with timekeeping, task tracking, and internal workflow coordination across contractor and government personnel. • Maintain physical and electronic filing systems to ensure organized, secure, and efficient records management. • Coordinate with government staff and other contractors to ensure timely completion of deliverables and administrative tasks. • Ensure compliance with DoD administrative procedures and security protocols for documentation and communications.

Qualifications: Required: • Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI) clearance. • 2–4 years of experience in a federal office or executive administrative support role. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and document management systems. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Preferred: • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in office administration or a related field. • Familiarity with DoD formats, policies, and communication protocols. • Experience supporting senior government executives or within a classified environment.

Clearance Required: Active Top Secret / SCI (TS/SCI)
