Number of: Full-time, Direct Hire Industry: Manufacturing / Service DevSelect’s client is seeking an Enterprise Architect. This role involves working with company leaders to identify value-based opportunities and guide decision-makers in resource selection that supports current and future operations. As part of the Enterprise Architecture team, the role collaborates with leaders, technologists, and executives to develop strategies that steer design and implementation aligned with corporate objectives. Collaborate with strategy leaders and executives to understand business processes and objectives, ensuring technology solutions meet current and future needs efficiently and sustainably. Maintain and update the EA Roadmap, translating strategy into actionable tasks to deliver early results and business value. Define reference architectures to guide the development of solution building blocks. Prepare senior-level recommendations and communicate technology vision and direction effectively. Work collaboratively with internal and external teams to achieve goals, simplify processes, reduce costs, and ensure safe, accurate, and timely work completion. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred. 8-10 years of progressive IT experience, transitioning from traditional approaches to cloud-oriented architecture. 3-5 years’ experience with large-scale enterprise, public sector, or service provider implementations. Certifications or training in industry EA frameworks such as TOGAF, FEAF, Gartner, Zachman are preferred. Proven experience in at least two primary EA domains, with knowledge in others. Experience with Retail POS systems, security, privacy, and user experience concerns. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies, systems engineering (CMMi), and frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, ISO. Experience with compliance models such as PCI-DSS, CPNI, SOX, PII. Cloud design and development experience in a SaaS hybrid environment. Ability to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
