Answer and route incoming calls, emails, and faxes in a professional and timely manner Schedule patient appointments, coordinate deliveries/pickups, and follow up on orders Prepare, process, and maintain patient files, including prescriptions, insurance authorizations, and medical documentation Verify patient insurance coverage, obtain prior authorizations, and communicate coverage details to patients Enter and update orders in the DME management system accurately and efficiently Assist with billing processes, claims submissions, and resolving insurance-related issues Track and manage DME inventory; coordinate with vendors for restocking and repairs Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable federal, state, and accreditation requirements Generate and distribute daily/weekly reports for management Support the DME team with special projects and administrative needs as assigned
