Neuro ICU RN Job Details Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Neuro ICU Location: Memphis, TN 38104 (Tennessee nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting: Neuro Critical Care Unit Start Dates: 9/8/2025, 9/22/2025, or 10/6/2025 Contract Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 19:00) Hours per Week: 36 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1780-$1910 per week On-Call: As needed Weekend Requirement: As needed (weekend block may be considered) Flu Vaccine: Required (no exemptions) COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Neuro ICU RN experience with prior travel nursing assignment, or 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience if no travel experience Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or compact state (NLC guidelines compliant) Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher BLS certification (must remain current throughout assignment) Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted) Cerner electronic charting experience preferred Willingness to float to similar critical care units as needed Availability to work 2 of 3 major holidays if assignment overlaps with Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's All requested time off must be disclosed at submission First-time travel nurses accepted only with 3 years of recent Neuro ICU experience Neuro ICU RN Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill neuro patients in the ICU Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Administer medications, manage IVs, and operate specialized neuro monitoring equipment Educate patients and families on care, procedures, and post-discharge instructions Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner (preferred) Float to similar critical care units within 20 miles as needed Participate in unit orientation and ongoing professional development Apply now to join our Memphis healthcare team as a Travel Registered Nurse in the Neuro ICU and take the next step in your nursing career!
