Pay Information $2,161 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years recent Telemetry experience License: Active RN license in a compact state Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS - must be from American Heart Association Must-Have: Cardiac Monitoring experience Description: General job duties include cardiac monitoring and anti-arrhythmia infusions. Post-operative care for open-heart surgery, thoracotomy, and acute myocardial infarction/st-elevation myocardial infarction. Equipment utilized includes computerized charting, medication scanning, and telemetry. Required skills include cardiac monitoring experience with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6. The unit is a 30-bed facility. Staff members will work 12-hour shifts, with every other weekend required. There is no call responsibility, and holidays will be scheduled. Floating to a medical-surgical area may be required.
