CENTRAL OFFICE SUPPORT CLERK
Location: Administration Building
Salary: In Accordance with the AFSCME Local 3154 Master Agreement
Reports To: Immediate Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma
  • Pass a personal interview with the Immediate Supervisor and Central Office Administrator.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Community College Degree
  • Microsoft Office, AS400, Red Rover
LENGTH OF DAY: 7.0 hours per day
LENGTH OF WORK YEAR: In accordance with the AFSCME Local 3154 Master Agreement (260 days - 13 paid holidays)
CLASSIFICATION: III (Interview position) CATEGORY: A
JOB GOAL: Ensure a smooth-running, efficient operation of various accounting functions, communications, record keeping and staff/parent/student needs.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Establish and sustain positive and effective working relationships with staff, students, parents and the public.
  • Keep a comprehensive, organized, and relevant filing system.
  • Establish and sustain good telephone skills.
  • Support the main office by providing front desk coverage.
  • Support the business office during peak work flow periods.
  • Work efficiently in word processing, spread sheet, and various other software programs as needed.
  • Assist with maintaining record keeping functions for staff attendance (i.e. sick days, personal days, professional days, etc.)
  • Maintain Personnel Directory
  • Assist with/provide back up with processng EduStaff payroll.
  • Process Volunteer forms.
  • MAISL form reporting.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Understand and execute oral and written instructions.
  • Perform other responsibilities/essential functions that are related to the responsibilities of the immediate supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
