Pay Information $3,624 per week About The Position CVOR RN Registered Nurse CVOR 13 weeks Day 4x12-Hour (06:30 - 19:00) or Day 4x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30) 12 hours per shift Minimum 2 years of experience required DC RN Licensure (pending accepted, must have applied, and must hold license prior to start date) BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience circulating in CVOR and Level 1 trauma - Completion of 1 prior travel assignment Description: The CVOR RN will provide care in the cardiovascular operating room. Shifts will be scheduled as 4x12-hour days. The day shift is from 06:30 to 19:00, while the evening shift is from 11:00 to 23:30. On-call duties will be required as part of the schedule, totaling 6 calls per 6-week period. One weekend or holiday shift will also be required per 6-week schedule. If there are no cardiovascular cases, the RN may float to general surgery as needed. All staff must comply with the facility's flu vaccine requirement. Preferred qualifications include experience with trauma Level I and proficiency in a specific charting system. Patient care will involve managing adult and geriatric populations, with an expected daily census of approximately 60 cases including 8-10 cardiovascular cases daily. The unit will support a range of cardiovascular procedures and surgical interventions. Interdisciplinary support includes teams from various areas such as IV, radiology, and pharmacy. The RN will engage in special cardiovascular procedures and utilize advanced surgical equipment.
