M-F, 8:00AM- 4:30PM
Talent Strategy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to join one of our clients as their Office Accountant / Bookkeeper. This is a crucial role responsible for managing the daily financial operations of the client.
Job Description: Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
Maintain accurate daily accounting records and prepare all necessary financial reports. This includes managing accounts payable and receivable, as well as general ledger maintenance. QuickBooks Proficiency:
Utilize QuickBooks extensively to manage all financial transactions, track expenses, and generate reports. Strong proficiency in QuickBooks is essential. Payroll Processing:
Prepare and submit payroll, including the calculation and filing of all associated payroll taxes. Tax Preparation & Filing:
Handle the preparation and filing of all necessary business taxes. A CPA certification is highly preferred, or proven experience and ability to independently manage and file all required tax forms. Billing & Invoicing:
Manage billing on an accrual basis, including tracking hours and materials to ensure accurate invoicing.
Qualification: Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping. Extensive knowledge and practical experience with QuickBooks. Experience with payroll processing and tax submissions. Ability to manage all aspects of tax filing for a business. A CPA license is a significant advantage, but not required if you have demonstrable experience in tax preparation. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
