As a Revenue Cycle Analyst, you will be responsible for: Assessing current revenue cycle processes and workflows Identifying areas for efficiency and effectiveness enhancements Collaborating with teams to streamline processes, reduce and recover denials, and optimize cash flow Analyzing and monitoring revenue cycle metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Performing a broad range of Revenue Cycle support functions including system maintenance, data analysis, report creation, and process improvement activities Entering and updating government and third-party payer reimbursement terms and rates in the patient accounting system to calculate accurate expected reimbursement Maintaining master files for payer information and transaction code sets to adjust the accounts receivable Coordinating reimbursement reviews with the Central Business Offices Performing data analysis to minimize calculated payment variances requiring manual intervention Qualifications
Experience & Knowledge: 3-5 years of experience with a relevant college degree in business, finance, healthcare administration, health information management, or similar Basic knowledge of healthcare finance or revenue cycle operations Strong professional written and verbal communication skills Proficiencies in Microsoft Office tools Ability to meet deadlines and multitask Significant Revenue Cycle experience might be accepted in lieu of certain college education requirements Travel Requirements
