Sales Analyst II, Retail Sales

As a Sales Analyst II, you'll be a critical business partner to Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership delivering insights that shape pricing, promotions, and profitability across our Retail division. Your work will fuel smarter decision-making, help identify margin improvement opportunities, and drive sustainable business growth. What You'll Do Analyze and improve sales P&Ls weekly, investigating variances and root causes Lead budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes Support pricing strategies and broker commission reporting Drive promotional/trade planning insights using internal and external trends Understand the pork commodity market and its impact on future sales Maintain customer/product hierarchy and manage promotional accruals Partner with the Retail Sales VP and cross-functional teams on strategic initiatives Build and maintain reporting tools to measure business performance What Makes This Role Exciting? Skills & Mindset Must-Haves: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field 25 years in an analytical or finance role Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Experience with margin analysis, forecasting, and reporting Excellent communication skills and team mindset Nice-to-Haves: CPG or pork/meat industry experience Experience with BI tools, pricing systems, or SAP Exposure to trade marketing or promotional analytics MBA or advanced financial certification Your Future at Clemens This is more than a job
