As a Senior Account Manager for our Fresh Pork Retail division, you're not just managing a book of business, you're leading strategic growth efforts with some of the most important customers in our portfolio. This role gives you autonomy, visibility, and the opportunity to shape Clemens' position in the fresh pork landscape. The Impact You'll Make You'll take the lead in building profitable relationships with retail partners, balancing customer needs with internal supply dynamics. From forecasting demand to negotiating pricing and driving promotional volume, you'll be accountable for both the strategy and the execution that fuels revenue and margin growth. What You'll Do Develop and execute tailored customer growth strategies Manage weekly forecasts and align with supply and production teams Sell daily unsold inventory to maximize margin Make key account visits and conduct discovery calls to expand opportunities Design trade-up strategies, promotions, and programs that boost retail sales Collaborate across teams to align pricing with market and customer intel Serve as the trusted fresh pork expert for your customers What Makes This Role Exciting? What We're Looking For 46 years of food industry sales or account management experience (retail preferred) Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field Strong forecasting, pricing, and negotiation skills Comfort in navigating fast-paced environments and cross-functional settings Proven experience presenting to senior leaders and managing complex customer relationships Track record of improving processes and delivering measurable results Skills & Mindset Highly strategic yet operationally hands-on Insight-driven communicator and relationship builder Comfortable balancing daily sales execution with long-term customer development Obsessed with delivering customer value and internal alignment Your Future at Clemens Success in this role opens doors to broader leadership in commercial strategy, category management, or customer development.
