Production Services Supervisor

The Production Services Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of assigned events, including audio-visual equipment and operations, installation, rentals, external services, and entertainment. In this critical role, you will ensure that each event is executed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the company's established standards. Your leadership will be essential in coordinating resources and maintaining effective communication to deliver exceptional event experiences. The day-to-day: Supervise the set up and tear down of equipment and services, provide direction to technicians and coordinate all audiovisual requirements including permits, insurance and quality checks Create or review technical drawings Supervise installation of events, hire, schedule and supervise outside services and specialty labor, secure rentals, entertainment and photography, oversee crew leads and talent, ensure a safe environment Understand Event Contact's vision, expectations, and needs of assigned events and act as first point of contact in their absence; anticipate and solve creative, installation, and/or timeline issues in conjunction with management to meet deadlines Stay current in design trends and vendor offerings; expand vendor base to grow new products Prepare Purchase Orders for services, and receive when complete; verify invoices for payments; generate Profit/Loss statements for review and close project for invoicing Oversee rental load-in/out and setup/breakdown; monitor rentals for damages and coordinate return shipments Communicate project status and timelines with internal departments, clients and vendors to maintain satisfaction The ideal candidate: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Two years of experience in the event industry, hospitality, or related field Two years of supervisory, lead, or equivalent experience preferred Two years of experience in events, A/V, show/entertainment production or theater preferred Must be able to work a varied shift to include weekends, holidays, and evenings The perks & benefits: Health & Income Protection benefits (for eligible employees) Access to company hotel, food and beverage, retail, and entertainment discounts as well as discounts with company partners on things like travel, electronics, online shopping, and more.
