This role involves transforming complex data into actionable reports to support core clients, collaborating with business owners, and ensuring effective communication of technical solutions. Responsibilities: Design, build, deploy, and maintain BI solutions (ad-hoc reports, scorecards, dashboards, automated reports, and more) using a variety of reporting platforms, including PowerBI (with DAX), SQL, and Excel. Possess high-level subject matter expertise for data modelling, data sourcing, data quality, and BI delivery solutions. Perform testing and troubleshooting. Work to improve the BI development lifecycle. Partner in requirements gathering from non-technical business personnel. Approach challenges with a can-do spirit, analytical mind, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work independently, collaboratively, and willing to work on additional duties and ad hoc projects as assigned by the manager. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and effective reports. Support and uphold our Culture Essentials Other duties assigned as needed within the scope of this position. Qualifications: Required: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Minimum 5 years experience with SQL, PowerBI, and Excel. Minimum 3-5 years Business Analysis experience. Expert-level knowledge of Power BI, including data modelling, DAX formulas, and custom visualizations. High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SQL for data manipulation and analysis. Expertise in the design, development, and formatting of tabular reports, charts, graphs, and dashboards with drilldown capability. Strong understanding of data visualization best practices. Detail-oriented thinker exhibiting strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issues. Familiarity with iterative development and Agile Scrum practices. Experience with supporting testing phases with users. Experience with version control. Experience with data governance. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, OneNote. Effective communication skills across all organizational levels. Demonstrates confidentiality and strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through. Preferred: Master's degree is a plus. Tableau and SSRS experience are a nice to haves, but not required. Experience with Power Apps and SharePoint integrations is a plus, but not required.
