Raytheon has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts supporting the Rolling Airframe Missile (RAM) program within the Naval Shipboard Missile Systems Portfolio of Raytheon's Naval Power Strategic Business Unit. This role will be primarily supporting the Design Agent (DA) part of the program, with likely support of international Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting opportunities as well. The primary responsibilities will include collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements for proposal, negotiation and contract executions. Provide sound contract management to meet customer obligations, achieve company goals, and comply with company policies. Professionally represent Raytheon on contractual transactions and work closely with customers to develop and maintain business relationships. Support the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contract execution, as well as general contract administration. Identify, mitigate, and resolve contractual issues as they may arise. Provide guidance regarding contractual and business issues, advising management of contractual rights and obligations as well as possible mitigation of contractual/program risks. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years' experience Experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and/or Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) Experience with contract administrative support activities and/or contracts negotiations Qualifications We Prefer
Experience working with Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) contracting Ability to partner with others, work in a team environment, and defer to management as appropriate Demonstrated ability to develop effective and sustaining relationships with customers Experience in a position requiring multi-tasking and handling several assignments concurrently or similar project management or coordination Active and transferrable DoD Secret Clearance What We Offer

The salary range for this role is $82,000 - $164,000. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
