Housekeeping Supervisor
We currently have an opportunity for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join the Four Seasons Hotel St. Louis. This role reports to the Director of Housekeeping. Will be responsible for inspecting the work of a team of Room Attendants and House Attendants responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of a specific area of the hotel. Trains and coaches the staff. Schedules work to be done daily, collects room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas. Monitors each Room Attendants daily progress. Monitors the performance of House Attendants. Assures that there are sufficient supplies on the guest floors. Checks cleanliness of guest corridors, stairwells, elevators and linen closets. Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in the areas of Lobby Attendant, Room Attendant, and House Attendant. The person we seek will be a passionate and motivated leader, with excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills. A demonstrated ability to lead a multicultural team is essential, as is solid business acumen and a passion for service. Strong training and supervisory skills are essential in this role. Good written and spoken English skills are essential, as is computer proficiency with MS Excel and Word, Opera, HotSOS and REX systems are also preferred. Spoken Spanish will be an advantage.
