Public Health SME
We need an experienced Public Health SME to support the Real Warriors Campaign (RWC) at the Defense Health Agency's Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). The RWC is a public health initiative promoting psychological health, reducing stigma, and supporting suicide prevention among service members, families, and the DoD community. In this role, you will oversee public health-focused campaign content, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, coordinate outreach and messaging across agencies, and report on performance to support continuous improvement. Produce new RWC campaign content across multiple communication channels, in a variety of formats, targeting active duty service members, family members, medical providers, commanders, and others as directed. Develop a plan for lifecycle management of all campaign materials and execute a sustainable review, update, and archive process to ensure that campaign materials are technically accurate and reflect the most up-to-date information available. Review the RWC website ensuring that content is current and accurate, and that links are active. Produce and deliver a quarterly Campaign Content Review Report beginning 120 days after contract award. Identify, facilitate, exhibit, and present at conferences or events aligned with campaign aims. Propose, develop, and implement outreach, awareness, and educational activities. Manage partnerships and stakeholder engagement strategies to further the aims of the Real Warriors Campaign. Coordinate with campaign stakeholders and Veteran Service Organizations (VSOs) to identify high value and impactful campaign topic areas to meet the needs of the anti-stigma and suicide prevention campaign target audience. Develop a formal partnership plan to enhance engagement and inter-agency coordination. Help establish and support a working group consisting of military and federal agencies and relevant stakeholders to enhance strategies and messaging across agencies and the DoD. Conduct stakeholder needs assessment to inform continuous campaign strategy development. Coordinate with national and regional partners. Monitor the performance of campaign activities and to report on RWC's contributions to help-seeking, stigma reduction, and suicide prevention. Apply lessons learned from RWC monitoring, evaluation, and needs assessment efforts to conduct continuous quality improvement activities to enhance campaign operations. Qualifications
Minimum of ten (10) years' professionally related experience Three (3) years of experience conducting public health outreach and education. Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or DPH) in the aforementioned fields with experience in psychological health outreach and education is preferred. Education
Graduate degree in public health education, health science, health communication, social and behavioral science, or a related field Location
