Senior Draftsperson - Millwork

Create and develop precise millwork and interior construction shop drawings using AutoCAD (or other CAD software). Interpret architectural plans, elevations, and design intent into detailed fabrication drawings. Coordinate drawings with project managers, engineers, installers, and fabricators to ensure accuracy and constructability. Review and revise drawings based on feedback from clients, architects, and internal teams. Ensure all drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Maintain organized drawing files, revision logs, and documentation for each project. Assist in resolving technical issues during the fabrication and installation phases. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior draftsmen when required. Minimum 5-7 years of drafting experience, with at least 3 years in millwork and interior construction projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, or SolidWorks) is a plus. Strong understanding of construction methods, joinery techniques, materials, and finishes. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders. Time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
