A growing Milwaukee-based company is seeking an experienced

Import/Export Coordinator

to manage international shipping processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and support supply chain operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong documentation skills and a proactive mindset to join a collaborative and fast-paced team. Responsibilities:

Coordinate and process international shipments, including imports, exports, and customs documentation

Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade laws and regulations (e.g., EAR, ITAR, HTS codes)

Communicate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery

Maintain accurate shipping and customs records

Track shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues

Prepare commercial invoices, packing lists, and other required export documentation

Assist with logistics reporting and vendor performance tracking

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in import/export operations, logistics, or international shipping

Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, and trade compliance

Strong communication and organizational skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (SAP or Oracle a plus)

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience with

HTS classification , AES filings, or export licenses

Knowledge of

transportation management systems (TMS)

Experience in

manufacturing or distribution

environments

Pay Range:

$23–$28/hour (depending on experience) Schedule:

Monday–Friday | Full-time Type:

Contract-to-hire

Pay Details:

$23.00 to $28.00 per hour
