First Year Analyst, Debt Capital Markets

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Debt Capital Markets team covering Latin America as a First Year Analyst. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in executing debt transactions and advising sovereign, quasi-sovereign, financial and corporate clients across the region. As part of a dynamic and fast-paced team, you will work closely with senior bankers and cross-functional teams to originate, structure, and execute transactions across various debt products. Responsibilities: Support the origination and execution of DCM transactions in Latin America across a range of industries and clients. Prepare client presentations, pitch books, market updates, and transaction marketing materials. Conduct market research and credit analysis to support deal structuring and investor targeting. Support execution of live transactions by coordinating documentation, due diligence, internal processes, deal team logistics, and client-facing materials such as roadshow presentations. Prepare multi-currency bond pricing spreadsheets and updates to be distributed to clients. Understand and articulate the varying documentation requirements across issuance structures Maintain and analyze market and deal databases. Interact with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, syndicate, credit risk, ratings advisory, coverage, liability management) to facilitate transaction execution. Track deal performance, pricing trends, and regulatory developments affecting Latin American debt markets. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field. 02 years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, credit analysis, sales and trading, or a related financial field (internship experience will be considered). Strong interest in emerging markets, especially Latin America. Fluent in Spanish and English (required) Strong communication and presentation abilities. Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines in a team environment. Familiarity with Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint is essential. With respect to this position in our New York Office, the expected base salary ranges from $90,000 to $100,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
