Press Operator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Operator to set up, operate, and maintain press machines used in the production process. The Press Operator is responsible for ensuring that all products meet quality standards, production goals are achieved, and safety guidelines are followed at all times. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate press machines according to production specifications and work orders. Monitor machine operation and make adjustments to maintain product quality and efficiency. Inspect finished parts for accuracy, defects, and conformance to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production schedules. Load raw materials into the press and remove finished products from the machine. Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on equipment. Complete required production paperwork and maintain accurate records. Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Keep work area clean, organized, and free of hazards. Communicate any production issues or equipment concerns to supervisors promptly. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience operating press machinery in a manufacturing environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
